Deep & Jalpa are excited to serve for the 4th time as Choir Booster Co-Presidents for the '26-'27 school year.  

They last served in various roles on the Vocal Arts Booster Board from 2018-2021 when their son, Arjun, was in Madrigals (also 4-year choir student). Now, he's a successful graduate of Beckman and Mrs Stück's choir program (previous Choral Director), and recently graduated from UCSD class of 2025.

Their daughter, Asha, has been studying vocal, piano, and dance since she was 6 years old. She is currently a Junior at Beckman in her 3rd year as a choir student in Madrigals. 

The Trikannad family are staunch supporters of music and the arts. Deep currently works in tech, but has a rich history of music having grown up learning Indian Classical Percussion, himself.  Arjun has also learned Indian Classical Percussion and Asha recently passed her CM10 exam in Classical Piano and learning Kathak; a form of Indian Classical Dance. Jalpa is an artist in her own right having learned dance since she was a child. Jalpa and Asha currently learn Kathak together. 

Jennifer is excited to be serving her second year on the Booster Board as her first year being Vice President while continuing to be the Social Media Manager. She loves being involved in something that means so much to her daughter, Grace, who has had a passion for singing since childhood. Grace is now a senior in both Bel Canto and Madrigals and has proudly participated in Beckman Choir throughout all four years of high school.

Outside of choir, Jennifer works as a Commercial Property Manager and is a proud mom and “Lola” (grandma) to her two-year-old grandson. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and is always on the lookout for the next great concert or Broadway show. She looks forward to supporting our talented students and helping make the 2026-2027 choir season a memorable and successful year.

Treasurer 

This is Frederique's first year on the Beckman Choir Booster Board, and she's genuinely happy to be here. Her son Matt is a Junior, has always loved singing, and after a year of guitar with Ms. Stuck, he was encouraged to try out for the Advanced Choir. He joined Madrigals his sophomore year, and Frederique has been a proud mom ever since.

In her professional life, Frederique is the Head of School of a private French American school in Orange, a role that keeps her busy but also gives her a real passion for education and community.

At home, she's a mom to three grown-up kids, with Matt being the youngest and the last one still at home. You'll often find her on the bleachers cheering Matt on at basketball or just enjoying some precious family time. 

She's excited to be part of the Beckman Choir community and can't wait to support the students and families who make it so great. 

Jessica's daughter Jodi is a senior. Jodi was in choir at Pioneer and has been been in Beckman choir all 4 years, in Bel Canto since sophomore year. Jodi is also on the student choir board serving in various roles. Jessica previously served on Beckman's cross country parent board for her son who graduated in 2025. Jessica and Jodi love attending concerts and performances together including Laufey, Melanie Martinez and Phantom of the Opera
