Nancy Stück

Choral Director

Nancy Stück was named a quarterfinalist for the Grammy’s Music Educator Award 2016. In 2015 she was recognized as an “ Outstanding Arts Educator, Orange County Music and Arts Administration;” and received an “I Make a Difference Award” from the County of Orange, TUSD Special Education Advisory Committee. She holds Bachelor degrees from Azusa Pacific University and Multnomah University, and a Master’s degree from Azusa Pacific. Mrs. Stück is a member of the Music Teachers Association of California, the Southern California Vocal Association, and the American Choral Directors Association. Her choirs have performed at Carnegie Hall in New York where they received a Gold Award, Segerstrom Hall in the Orange County Performing Arts Center, the Imagination Celebration, and various other venues throughout the west coast. Mrs. Stück is currently teaching choir and guitar at Arnold O. Beckman High School as well as being an adjunct faculty member at Vanguard University. Her high school students are music scholarship winners to such prestigious institutes as Oberlin Music Conservatory, Northwestern, Boston College, and NYU to name a few.

Christine Lecce


Christine Lecce is a well-respected pianist who has established an admirable reputation during her accompanying career. She collaborates with musicians on a regular basis for competitions, auditions and local performances. She has been accompanying the choirs at Beckman High School since the fall of 2015. Mrs. Lecce began accompanying during her college years at Youngstown State University in Ohio, where she received her Bachelor of Music Education with an emphasis in piano. She has performed for concerts at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, and music festivals have taken her to Carnegie Hall in New York City, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and San Diego. Christine Lecce has accompanied for the Irvine Unified School District Honor Concerts, Woodbridge High School Vocal Department in Irvine, Tustin High School Vocal Dept., the Opera Department at the Orange County High School of the Arts, Opera Pacific’s Summer Opera Camp, The All-American Boys Chorus, and for many solo singers throughout Orange County.

Kim Nguyen

Vocal Coach

Kim is a coloratura soprano and music educator, specializing in classical and contemporary vocal technique. After graduating from Beckman High School in 2016, Kim completed two Bachelors of Music degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education at Chapman University. She has received multiple awards for her accomplishments in vocal performance, including the Herb Alpert Emerging Young Artists’ Scholarship. She has premiered numerous newly composed solo and chamber works in collaboration with upcoming, diverse composers, and has performed in reputable choral ensembles internationally. Following the completion of her undergraduate studies and tenure at other music studios, Kim opened up her own private music studio based in Orange County, CA.

Kim's goal as a teacher is to offer personalized, student-oriented lessons that synthesize creative pedagogical practices, technical proficiency, and authentic creative expression. She aims to provide a safe space, cultivating each student’s unique musical and artistic voice. Kim is excited for the opportunity to give back to her high school community and provide private instruction that she did not have access to in the early stages of her career.
