Choirs
Beckman High School Vocal Arts offers three choirs to students in 9th-12th grade. Each choir focuses on proper vocal technique, choral performance practices, musicianship appropriate for its level, as well as choral literature from all eras and styles and in multiple languages. All choirs perform in a minimum of four concerts per year in addition to festivals and/or competitions.
All three choirs are outstanding. Each choir regularly receives Superior and/or gold ratings yearly. Students from Beckman Vocal Arts have performed in iconic venues around the world, such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Sydney Opera House in Australia, and Musikverein in Vienna. Our advanced students regularly perform at National and Western States American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) conferences each year.
